Truly enjoyed this old-fashioned hotel: good food and helpful and very very helpful staff. Brand-new and large room, besides I had a pleasant view in front of lake. The location of this venue short walk to the pathway, and a lake was comfy. It also was near city centre. Actually everything was pleasant, my next choice again in Kuala Lumpur.

Location and quiteness.

What surprises me was the price. After booking and having confirming with the price stated, I reached only to find out that the price was deceptive and rather increased by up to two hundred ringgits more. I had already prepared my budget based on the price quoted during booking. I had to look for extra money to be able to pay for my medical fees at Gleneagles Hospital since that is the reason why I was in Malaysia in the first palce and proximity made me to choose Flamingo. I must say i was disappionted with the change of price.

The room is big and comfortable with nice view during day and nite. Beautiful lake and environment so cool suitable for relaxing with family. Facilities and cleanliness is very good with kindness of staffs.

I like the staff and how helpful there were with anything that was needed.

The food was not all the great in either of the restaurants onsite. Also the pictures need to be more accurate as we book the chalet, but found it kind of dark and had a rundown feeling to it. We decided to change rooms and the hotel was pretty ful and we ended up upgradeing to a suite which I feel was the best choice we make as it was a nice room.

The location here is great, being near shops, the lake, and the staff is helpful and polite, providing excellent assistance.

The shower is too small and plumbing is poor. Could do with a bath.

The room I had was brand-new and spotless with a double bed. the staff was polite! - A shower, bidet, and bath sheets were a plus. - I found the hotel's location excellent, very close to the pathway to chalet, many shops, and the cafe.

Cleanlines is poor.

Reasonable place to kill a few days but far away from the city center and main attractions. still if you had some days you can save on hoteling and spend some on taxi and end up with a net saving of say 20% on hotel costs in the city center.

one particular guy in the reception was extremely rude!

The breakfast here is affordable and the staff are incredibly courteous and accommodating.

Thoroughly enjoyed the room with a GOOD view, my bed was large. Location: the hotel was close enough to Ampang point, Shopping areas and hospital, the pathway to chalet and rooms.

The chalet facing the lake and the location is near the my sister wedding reception at Dewan Gemalasari RISDA. Ampang Road.

If you have your own transportation, then shouldn't be any problem for you to travel, but if you don't, i guess you need to use a cab. From hotel to KLCC its take's 20 minutes and Pavilion 25 minutes if you use Ampang road without traffic jammed. Ampang road is one of the busiest road in KL, unless you travel in none peak hours.. Or else, advise the cab to use AKLEH , Ampang KL Elevated Highway to reach KLCC. From KLCC is walking distant to Pavilion.
